About Handley's
Handley's have been at the forefront of TV reception since its founding in 1970 by
Michael Handley, erecting aerials for the then three available channels across the
North and has remained in the family since then.
As technology developed so did the demand for newer, better ways to watch TV.
The coming of satellite TV with BskyB (later Sky) and the nationwide digital
switchover for terrestrial TV opened up hundreds of channels for the consumer. IPTV
and fibre optic systems have created ways to distribute these channels to infinite
numbers of screens.
Commercial systems grew with newbuild apartment blocks, schools, care homes and
sports arenas.
Nowadays, a TV screen is a major aesthetic to a room, so Handley's provide a fully
inclusive screen mounting service for clients including cinema surround sound and
audio systems.
Handley's have kept pace with the technology and provide a full Audio Visual service
to suit all spaces from a bedsit to a football stadium or 500 apartment tower block,
from a 50” TV mounting to a 10m wide video wall.
As more and more of our TV comes via the internet Handley's provide WiFi networks
and mesh systems for IPTV viewers. We are also officially Accredited Starlink
Installers and can flood your property (home or work) with fast broadband.
Domestically, we cover the whole of Yorkshire, commercially, we cover the whole
